THEMTACC was born at the foot of K2 in 2010, when our founder Zahir Ali Shah guided his first group of six mountaineers across the Baltoro Glacier. What began as a personal mission — to share the raw, untamed beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral with the world — has grown into the country's most trusted high-altitude expedition company.

We've since guided over 500 expeditions across the Karakoram, Himalayan, Hindukush, and Pamir ranges. Our team of 40+ local guides — many of whom have personally summited 8,000-metre peaks — brings a depth of mountain knowledge that simply cannot be found in any guidebook.
From the ice-blue corridors of the Baltoro Glacier to the wildflower meadows of Hunza Valley, we know these mountains intimately.
